dc.descriptionThis is a bronze prutah of the Roman procurator of Judaea (52-59 CE) under the roman Emperor Claudius. He judged the Apostle Paul and sent him to prison for 2 years. Obv: two crossed palm branches surrounded by the Greek inscription "Tiberius Claudius Germanicus, year 14". Rev: wreath and within it four lines with inscription "Julia Agrippina." Minted in Jerusalem in 54 CE.
